and i expected a lot more from Fanny Pack presenting the award since they won the competition to do so, but instead they just yelled and screamed behind Ciara
and Lindsay. kinda dissappointing.

I was upset I couldn't see the VMAs but after reading all this I would have just been disappointed cuz I was so excited to see Britney perform just because
she's gotten into shape and it looked like she could have made a comeback.
LOL @ Jordin Sparks though...like all girls who wear promise rings are so pure anyways.

I'm sorry, but Russell Brand was fucking hilarious tonight and I've never thought he was that funny before.
I loved the T.I./Rihanna song, Kanye did WONDERFUL with that song (I loved his light up heart!) and Christina's GIAB remix was good, too. I hated that all these artists were singing songs they weren't nominated for. T.I. should've sang No Matter What and Lil Wayne should have definitely performed Lollipop.. but he sucked anyway. Also, Britney deserved none of those awards for the POM video. She should've gotten them back in the day when her videos were actually something worth giving an award for.
Edit: Did anyone else get extremely pissed when Brand cut off Robert Pattinson? And what the hell was Kristen wearing??

I hated most of the show.......Brit did not deserve one award, not one for that BS video. Russell Brand should have his passport revoked, I knew he would
fail. Rhianna proved once again, she is not a performer and not that good of a singer live, she had the best stage production of all the artist and still
couldn't make it work, I like pink, but she tries too damn hard to be rock, it should come naturally. Chiristina let me down tonight....the best vocalist
on the bill and she chose to sell out to the lip synching gods, I did like the GIAB remix though....It's not like she was doing Janet type choreography,
she could've sung live. I hattttttttttttttttte the Jonas Brothers, go the f**k away with your tight ass pants suits and Rhianna haircuts. Who cares if you
are virgins, and Jordan Sparks....STFU
 Lil Wayne, if you are the best
selling rap artist of the year, you better come greater than that....Can someone tell PCD that didn't win a Grammy it was award for dancing, the fake
crying was a little over the top....Tokyo Hotel....WTF
Kanye........WTF There was not that many celebs there or was it me,
besides the nominees and peformers.
One thing I liked was Paramore, I kinda slept on them, that lead singer is badass!!! |

the host was okay...he had his moments, but he was went on and on with the jonas brothers way too much.
the venue and staging was weird (i can't believe it was just a bucnh of plain ol' chairs!) but i guess the backlot stuff was kinda neat and different. britney may not have deserved those awards, but i'm glad to see her doing better and looking great. i don't really like her, but i'm rooting for her. christina's remix was fricken amazing, but i'm shocked as hell that she lip synched. and i had no idea she was working on a new album. i love that she's constantly reinventing herself. i was waiting for fanny pack to actually do something, so it was really lame that they only stood there and did nothing. oh, and i thought paramore rocked it! |

too....don't even get me started.
Britney looked good, but WTF to her winning 2 awards. She couldn't win one in her PRIME, yet she has a breakdown and recovers from it, and now she wins 2, for a crummy, low-budget video??? AND, WTH, was the purpose of this big "SECRET REHERSAL" video of her dancing, for??? BOOOOOO |
