I don't see any stipulation in this thread that the books recommended have to be hugely deep/literary/life changing. If people want to recommend Harry
Potter because they enjoy it then they should go ahead and do that.
It makes me sad for humanity when people get judged for enjoying a fun read. Not everything has to be War and Peace. |

doesn't mean it's not a good book. FFS. Everyone has their own taste.
