Tokio Hotel drummer crashes his car into tram

Tokio Hotel's clean cut image may have won them millions of fans across the world, but it seems they're far from being the ideal teenage role models - especially drummer Gustav Schafer, who crashed his car into a tram!

The 20-year-old musician was in his BMW 3-Series on Tuesday afternoon in the German city of Magdeburg when the accident happened. He reportedly overtook a line of traffic and drove straight over tram tracks which had been blocked off. His car was then hit by an oncoming tram, skidded into the right lane of traffic and hit two further cars.

Schafer and his two passengers - Katharina Kretzschmar (29), the sister of SCM sport director Stefan Kretzschmar, and Denny E. (29) from Hamburg - were taken by ambulance to hospital, although they were only slightly hurt.

The drummer may still be feeling pain, however, as he is set to be charged with bodily harm due to negligence.

But he shouldn't let it get him down - he will appear with his Tokio Hotel bandmates at the European Music Awards in Liverpool, where they are up for two gongs.

That's bad Can he leave the country to go to the EMA? Wow, I don't know why, I would have thought Tom was a crazy driver, with his huge car. Gustav looks so calm...unless he's just a bad driver

The EMA`s wont be a problem at all. He probably will get a big fine and probably lose his driverslicense for a period of time. I read somewhere, he could even end up in jail,since he hurt other people. BUT... thats only when the other people in the car sue him and even then its not very likely.

Dont know about being a bad driver. He probably just made a stupid mistake. Very stupid mistake...He could have gotten very hurt by this. Ofcourse also the others, but the tram hit his side of the car.

WTF? Bill is having "Quickies" in the swimmingpool???? But only while in the water? Its over at night? And when they go tanning?

Weirdest eppie ever. And Bill looked terrible in that shirt. He needs some healthy meals.

I have to admit that I found that a bit of an odd episode last night although that is probably more due to my lack of wanting to listen to Tom boast then anything. But someone needs to take Bill's shirt and burn it. I am also a big Duran Duran fan and I remember John Taylor saying that he used to take anything that Simon wore that was ugly and throw it away. I think that shirt might fall into that category.

I like the shirt, but not on him. And I know thalie is very much going to disagree with me, but... I hate his ponytail! Its girly and it makes him even more frail looking. So, as Tom throws out the shirt, maybe he should also throw out all the thingies-he-uses-to-make-the-ponytail-with-but-which-english-word-I-forgot too!!!

Did you btw see that Gustav smashing his car into a tram is big news? Even Perez mentioned it! I always knew the little-blond-angry-looking-one was the real badass of the band!
