After reading her thing on EW the other day I'm under the impression she never intended a triangle at all. Why did she intend them to get married right
after Twilight if she was going to have Bella fall in love with another guy? She wouldn't.. it would make Bella look even worse than she did the way it
worked out. I wonder if, originally, Jacob was just a friend of Bella's to keep her invested in the wolf BS. But when they pushed back the wedding from
book two to book four they decided another love interest was necessary. Either way, the ending should have changed if thats the case. Because someone who had a
hard-on for your Mom for such a long time should not be "imprinting" on the daughter. Add the small child aspect into it and it makes it pretty..
gross.
I hate Jacob but if he wasn't going to be killed off then they should have given him an ending where he gets an adult girl like a normal guy. Maybe he even leaves the area.. and SM could have had him come back in a surprise way, since she loves him, in other books she has discussed writing. |

I can't defend her writing. I can't see a way to defend how she's done this. I was just thinking it should have stopped at two books or whatever,
because this book literally sounds ridiculous.
I mean, I'm happy that they get a happy ending, don't get me wrong. But I don't even LIKE Jacob and I'm sitting here thinking he got the rawest deal out of this. Oh wait, Where the hell is Rose? WTF. I've waited all day for a definitive answer. NO ROSE. |

No. I agree. Jacob seems like a poorly developed character--only there for the subplot of the triangle and to give her the legends to explain Edward.
Is there STILL no info about Rose? I'm dying to know that! Poor Emmett.. |

Ohh god, if Rose is dead I'm going to be so pissed. Alice is my favorite Cullen kid besides Edward but what is this BS? Rose always wanted a kid..it was
tragic she couldn't have one. Bella gets one...and Rose gets the axe? Fail.
You're right. I hate Jacob.. and this is actually worse than him being killed off for those who like him. Because if he was killed off the characters would mourn him. Although, I'm sure there will be some who LOVE that he is so close to the inner cool circle now.. I can see the lame ass FF about it. But really, it grosses me out and everyone knows I've never had anything nice to say about him. Remember the BD quote about "you are going to hurt her?" I wonder if thats when he imprints. |

For real. I thought she was regular Mormon.. and not the Warren Jeffes type. Maybe I was wrong.
But really, that Jacob/Baby shit is disturbing. When I first heard that Bella had a kid I assumed she banged him pre-wedding or something else equally as OOC. Honestly, what the fuck if Rose dies. Because then we either have to believe Emmett will be lonely forever, she wasn't his big love and someone else will come along later, or he is a time bomb waiting to be sacrificed in the next series in a romantic way because he'd rather not live than be without her.
