I was thinking about all the jobs I had and its crazy how many I just walked off because they asked me to do something I didn't want to do. 1. Baskin Robbins - I tried making shakes but kept forgetting ingredients. So I just walked off. 2. Target- They asked me to fold the WHOLE jean section at 2:00am. So I walked off. 3. Mc Donalds- Told me to clean the bathroom - Walk off 4. AppleOne- Kept telling me to interview people when I wasn't ready to- Left and never went back I can't believe it..its sad actually I was stupid The only one I understand is Mc Donalds that mess was nasty

But when I was working at Dairy Queen, my manager called me and had an attitude because I was late (I read the schedule wrong) and because I hadn't gotten around to giving her a copy of my social security card because I kept forgetting about it. I was so pissed off that she was yelling at me and shit I just didn't come in, or the day after that, and so on.

I didn't do it, but so much stuff added up to it, then one day I was just working, stopped what I was doing, grabbed my things and left They didn't even notice. Oh, to be 16 again.

The obese manager who sat on her ass all day and ate(seriously, ALL DAY) told me, a 5 foot 98 pound girl to load computers onto dollys and wheel them in, in the middle of the summer. I sat down afterwards to catch my breath and have some water and the owner handed me a rag and said "Never sit down, you should always be moving, and working" Yeah, I left.

I refused, he insisted, I refused some more. He went into his office and I followed him and said, "If you write me up for this, I'm leaving." He did, so I left. I had a lot more jobs I just stopped showing up for. The weird thing is, most of them never bothered to call to see if I was alive.

Every damn night I would have to stay late to help clean up the store after closing. Now, I kept my section of the store clean during open hours and everyone else was supposed to do the same. But they didn't and I was stuck cleaning up everyone else's sections before I could go home. Ummmmmmmmmmm...Fuck that shit. One night I was there EXTRA late and I was like "Peace." My boss told me if I left early before everything was clean to not come back. So, I didn't.

I just couldn't do that. I just feel like, no matter how crappy that piece of the job is, if you leave, there's going to be some poor shmoe who has to pick up the slack and I'd rather give them the time to find someone to replace me.
