Maniston knows that she was rebound, she knows that instead of being devastated and feeling sad, Brad when he escaped, was happy and looking forward to the rest of his life.

Bottomline: It was the exact OPPOSITE of the condition she saw Brad in when he hooked up with her, post his Fishyth Paltry break-up. He was still mad, still angry and bitter. Say what you will about the lame doofus named Goopyth, Brad being naive and ignorant his damned self, thought he was in love, so when it ended, he was messed up -- he was doubly angry when she attempted to call him names behind his back. These were all things that Brad had fresh wounds over when he got together with maniston. She saw his pain, she knew she was probably rebound. She knew when they hooked up that Brad was NOT 'over it.'

So when she saw Brad eager, happy and pleased to be leaving her, hoping to stay pals, wishing the best and contemplating his own future and family with someone else, was like a knife in the gut. She couldn't help but compare the two opposite reactions. It told her simply: Brad was NEVER 'IN LOVE' with her. REBOUND.

In lieu of Brad feeling real emotion and sadness over their break-up as she did, she decided to try annoying, and angry to get ANY kind of reaction out of him. As they say, it's a thin line between love and hate -- Brad as demonstrated and discussed in a couple interviews could have cared less. He was happy to be gone. He wasn't upset, he was in great spirits...and THAT in and of itself, destrooyed her.

That's why we have her demonstrating this kind of behavior 5 years later. She knows Brad feels NOTHING for her ass, so she hopes that stalking him and ruining Angelina's night (and his own) will anger him...make him feel SOMETHING. It's a cry and a plea for attention from Brad. a 'look at me,' 'notice me!!' -- even if it's hate...she'll take it over 'nothing.' Which is all she means to Brad.
