I don't know if when Brad bought the Los Feliz property in 1994 he saw it as the future home for his family but it must had been very special to him to hold it for 14 years

Windsong, this is a really nice post. It really seems that they were meant to be together. I don't think anyone ever thought about them as a couple. But once it happened and you looked at it objectively you can see just how similar they really are. I first noticed their still photographs. So many of them are identical. Their movies. They have both done some of the same type of movies. And each have been objectified and married to people who wanted to exploit them for their own selfish needs. It was just a matter of time before they found one another. Now they have and I wish them happiness.

I am happy the tabs are starting to tell the truth. Of course they haven't told everything. But they will. The door has been cracked open now they will start to reveal how they with the silence of x, created the lies that spread around the world. And tried to destroy two innocent people who were only guilty of finding each other and falling in love. Peace

This is only my most humble opinion and perception of things, and since I don't get to talk about this stuff with my RL friends I may extend myself a bit on this answer so feel free to skip it if you like.

I've always liked them as actors, even on their early days one could see how talented and how much potential they each had to grow as artists. Also I would've never imagined them together. I remember when I first saw the trailer of M&MS I was shocked because that seemed such an odd pairing, I mean, Angie was more the action-drama type and Brad more like drama-thriller-comedy sort of film but nonetheless I was happy to watch them together. Real life got in the way and I didn't get to see the movie until about a year later of it's release but the minute I saw them interacting on screen I was spellbound to them It was just by the way they looked at each other that made me feel they were so right together and hoped they saw that for themselves one day.

Now don't get me wrong, I don't normally try to pair actors up just because they had a romantic story on film, but I do believe that a person's eyes can express more than what a thousand words or actions could. It was not just about chemistry, it was much much more to me.

At the time I didn't have a clue if they were still married to other people or not, had the vague idea of them being with BBT and JA, and suddenly I was so sad because of that, that I just HAD to know anything I could. I immediately googled them and almost fell out of my chair, I was relieved that I wasn't 'that' nuts and even cried of happiness when I saw Angie laughing like crazy because of 'hormones' on the Namibia - Ann Curry interview... watched it over and over.

Since then I've tried to keep track of them but not as often as I would like until the twins arrived I guess. Mostly I rely on taped interviews/events than on printed media.

Anyhoot, after watching every interview I could find of every stage of their lives it was evident (to me) to see that they were not happy before in their lives, and I'm not even sure they knew what it was like to be IN love before they got together. Yes I also noticed the similarities you've pointed out but more so on their past relationships than their chosen projects which are equally similar nonetheless. For example, they both started looking for/wanting a strong relationship when they were very young, I mean Angie was first married at what 20? Brad was engaged how many times before he got married? They both had and still have a very strong sense of family. And were/are being misundertood and singled out by other people. Each labeled and perceived as something other than what they really are. At least what they all along have known to be, even when they themselves didn't know what that was, maybe sometimes to a point to start believeing on other people's perceptions of themselves rather than their own.

What do you hold on to? What do you believe? They had to explore as many posibilities as they could in order to find those answers. Everyone does. It's a part of life... of growing, evolving.

Anyhow, the point to all this babbling is that, through this amazing rediscovery of what it is their life today, at least the little glimpse we get to have of that life, I firmly believe that they had to find each other at some point or another; and HAD to be together. They each had to live and learn first in order to acknowledge who they are as individuals and therefore be bold enough to take a leap of faith toward each other. To be able to recognize themselves in the other person... that to me is what makes a great love possible and real.

I found a phrase Brad used on an interview (don't remember which one but is somewhat recent) very reveiling, well lots of them actually but this in particular made me think a lot... he was answering a question about both being pilots and he said 'I'm in to details and she wants to get there' or something very similar to that. Thinking on that phrase alone I came to the conclusion that yes they do complement each other perfectly well, and I also think it is more descriptive of their esence as individuals than anything else I've read/heard them say.

They balance one another and that's why they can create as one and understand each other so well. Brad to me is more of a thinker, a wonderer, he would be a very great philosopher if he wants to be, it would be amazing to hear all his theories and such. I see Angie as an explorer, an adventurer, she needs to learn things hands on. As I said, the perfect balance. And they are indeed very fortunate people, not everyone gets to have someone like that in their lives or even get to experience something that grand. And I'm not talking about professional achievements, or success in any form of material or superficial way. But deep within to get to the place they are and the one they'll reach. WOW.

These are the sort of things that one can never fake, no matter how great an actor you can be. It shows, without having to chose the right words for an interview, or the perfect pose/expression for a photo shoot... it just shows.

I don't believe in coincidence, that to me simply does not exist. But I don't want to get too phylosophical here

Regarding the tabloids, there's so much you can invent to try to sell anything. I mean the truth always comes out sooner or later, and even though some people like to see what they want to see, there will be a time when that won't be possible anymore. But in reality the sad thing is that while there's a person willing to buy and believe that trash, they're gonna keep making it. As they say 'it's business... not personal'.

OK I'll stop here, can't really keep track of everything I've written so far and not sure if I translated it correctly (spanish is my native language by the way) so feel free to ask about or dismiss whatever I've said. It's not unusual for me to 'get lost in translation'
