The cringe factor is that the story line is kinda retarded, and if it was just on its own this movie would rate worse than Glitter. But the ABBA music and singing totally made it for me. It's just a really fun movie to sit through with a thoroughly likeable cast. Most of the songs are the really popular ones that everyone knows and there aren't many slow songs (thank fuck).

I saw it on stage and loved it - the story line is kind of weak, but this is the problem with trying to convert already written songs into a musical rather than coming up with a story line and then writing songs to fit in with it. It's far better than the story to We Will Rock You, which was just beyond silly
