It was minor but Oake was asking him about Byfuglien always being in front of the net bugging him and he's like "yeah I was surprised...I went to go
say congratulations on his good game at the end of the game but he was nowhere to be found!" something like that. It was cute because it's not
something I was expecting!

haha, That's some great sarcasm. Wonder how many Wings fans are still losing their shit after that screw job tonight in Anaheim. Brutal. |

The whistle had already gone because the ref lost sight of the puck, I guess... even though everybody and their mother could see it was free. |

WOW. I would be insanely pissed. From that video it even sounds like the whistle is blown after the puck crosses the line. That is such a crappy thing to
happen.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bAyHlcBtsdg There is the Roberto interview...about 2 minutes in they ask him about Byfuglien.

yeah you're right. I didn't know about that whole intended to blow the whistle rule. bummer!

wow, Boston could not clear the puck from their zone to save their LIVES tonight. I'm actually worried for them this series. Ward is playing amazing. I
mean, Thomas is too but Boston isn't playing great in front of him!

Bummed the Caps lost..even though they didn't play that great tonight, except for Varlamov!
They need to pick it up Friday, especially Green! |

I didn't stay up that late to watch the end, but from the video it looks like the whislte was blown AFTER the puck went in! Similar thing happened in 2007 between Anaheim and Detroit.....Ref's must have money riding on Ahaheim. |

I am in love with Malkin's dad. He is, by far, the coolest hockey player parent in the world. He was literally running through the halls after the game
last night, screaming (in Russian), high fiving people, KISSING and hugging people, basically just celebrating with all of the fans. Everyone around him was
chanting GENO and I have never seen a man so happy after a hockey game.
They seriously need to fly Malkin's parents to every game. He usually plays much better when they are in attendance, and last night, he put on a show. |

Oh. My. Goodness.
Did anyone catch the anthem singer in Anaheim tonight? It made me cringe. I wanted to pull my ears off the sides of my head. |

That whole intent thing, complete hogwash. Of everything that's reviewable, that kind of play... If an officials call in football can be changed on review
then why not hockey? Nobody knew that idiot had intent to blow the whistle, nobody stopped playing. Puck was nowhere close to be frozen. Just leaves such a bad
stench.
And seriously the trapping by the Canucks is driving me to induced comas during the games now. MAKE IT STOP Thankfully the never die Hawks pulled off a big F U. |

Phew, it was nice to wake up this morning and see that the Wings stuck it to the Ducks last night. I went to sleep when it was tied at 1 and of course had
dreams that the Wings lost.

I was also happy to see the Wings win last night mainly because of the screw job on Tuesday night. doubleyouTeeEff wrote: The sleeping giant has awaken. As good as Crosby is, the Penguins need Malkin to be on all cylinders. He's the difference maker on that team. He can take full control of a game with such ease as evidenced on Wednesday night. |

The reffing in the playoffs blows, man. I seriously don't understand it. An obvious penalty happens right in front of the ref and there's no call,
then a tiny little hold/hook/slash happens and they call it??

Reffing is usually terrible and inconsistent. Ovechkin should have at least gotten 5 minutes for his knee on Gonchar, but got 2 for tripping. Can't wait
for the NHL to look the other way and pretend it didn't happen, as it seems to be their MO this playoff season.

Welcome to a playoff series with the Caps.

The reffing has sucked majorly, and especially for the Caps..I mean the reffing has definitely been favoring the Pens.
