I'm glad you had a great time...and I understand tearing up; it's funny how you can be so proud of someone you don't really know, but it really is like knowing a normal kid who's living his dream and we've been lucky enough to be part of it with him as fans. That is great he surprised with Silent Night, too! I cannot wait until his tour, whenever that may be confirmed.

i could dance all nite wrote: jtluvsash wrote: Hope you're having/had fun, i could dance. Let us know how it went! Thanks! I came on late last night after I got home, but was too tired to post. Well, David was A-FREAKING-MAZING last night. He's soooooooo much better live. And the crowd went absolutely CRAZY for him. I definitely never would've guessed that many Archie fans lived in Houston. He sounded fantastic but of course that's nothing new. "Touch My Hand" was definitely my favorite just because everyone was dancing and jumping around for that one as well as "Crush." But every song was honestly a stand-out to me because he was sooooo incredibly passionate and energetic. No one else at Jingle Jam was like that (including Rihanna - who BTW had Chris Brown show up during her set). It was definitely an awesome experience. I really really hope I can see him live again. Oh, and he performed "Silent Night," which was a very pleasant surprise to me. Deep down, I was hoping his set would keep going and going and going. I do have to say that I feel like the BIGGEST LOSER because I cried about 100 times during his set. Not bawling, but tearing up. I was just thinking about the first time I saw him on the Idol auditions and then thinking about how far he's come and all the people going crazy for him. Yes, I'm a HUGE ridiculous sap, but it was a nice feeling.
