But criticism has to be constructive; tearing somebody down for no reason, and in ways that are completely illogical, is unnecessary, unfair, and reeks of pure bitterness. I'm so tired of the continual bitchiness of certain people who ruin the community spirit in this forum. The writers here try their best to help each other by offering ideas, opinions and INFORMED criticism. Most of us are now hardened to receiving this level of - for lack of a better word - bullshit, from a minority of members, but it annoys me to see it happen to others who might not know not to take such things to heart. There is no place here for jealousy and bitterness. Criticism can be a wonderful thing, but please make an effort to comment in such a way that is helpful. |

Personally i dont think Hooked is anything like Mad Love, but whatever. I adore it because of the writers style, detail and realistic feel i get from
the characters involved.
Ive seen the same seemingly bitter comments from the same person on another board at one time, so that doesnt shock me.

my fav has always been "It's Only Me" by FictionLyn. (talk about
old school) even though I know a lot of ppl on the board have issues with her, thats just a story that i never get tired of. I like Bedtime Stories too.
I'm a big fan of: Raw Intimacy Stretches of Highway Deranged Delusions and then ones that others have already mentioned like ALWL, Hooked, and Retail Hell. (basically anything by my JTPC girls. ) |
