I do almost every day, it's sad. I got an English degree (yeah I know...bad idea) and if I could do it all over again I'd go for something where I
could make money. The job I have now I don't even need a college degree for. I just get so frustrated when I pay $350 in student loans monthly for
something I don't even use.

I was also an English major, btw. |

Yes. I know it's better to go but I just wish I would have waited until I was ready and had some idea of what I wanted to do. I've wasted so many years
and so much money because I had no idea what I was doing.

Yeah it was a complete waste of money. I would love to go back once I get the loans I already have paid off.

Nope. I love nursing (sometimes!) and I'm making decent money for a single person.

yup, especially when I realized/ found out a couple of weeks ago, that those $450 a month payments were due.

What do you do imnotsayingitright?
I want to go back to school for something else, but I don't want to accumulate even more debt. |

I'm in college right now, and absolutely not. I love every minute of it so far, other than the one bad roommate I had last semester.

Sometimes. It's more like I regret going immediately after I graduated high school, but my parents absolutely made me and I had no choice. I would have
liked to had a bit of time to figure myself out some and what I really want to do, instead of settling for something that sounds good and has been pretty
enjoyable, but I'm not sure it's what I REALLY want to do.

Right now I work in Customer Service in a call center. I make decent money but not enough, and I just feel like I'm wasting my life every day...but I have
to pay my bills. There's no other jobs around here where I can make the same amount of $ I'm making now.

I kind of regret going out of state at times, but I know I'm going to a good school, so it doesnt bother me too much.

Not a single bit. It gave me the space, time, and opportunity to find out who I am, what I like, don't like, what I'll accept, what I won't while
becoming an adult. Plus...a degree.

SmoothlikeButta wrote: I work in the development department (fundraising) at my county's humane society. Nothing to do with my major, really, except for the grant-writing (ish). But that's not what college was about for me. I didn't view college as a way to get me to a certain place in my career, but rather to grow as a person. I was also a History minor, and if I go back to grad school, I'll probably go back in History or Philosophy. All right, or English. I just can't get away from Literature. I love it too much. |

I don't regret the whole college experince. It was great, but I regret my major more than anything.
