I love Emmett...I mean LOVE the guy... Him and Jasper are my new heroes. When Edward seems to perfect and I'll never find a guy like that, I am always glad
that Emmett or Jasper are nearby for me to crush on!

Eclipse just gave background information and had whatshername come and try to kill Bella. That scene was very underdone, imo. At the end, I was like

I have parts of the script for twilight. :P I believe it's being used for casting... it's not that bad. Most of it sounds exactly like the book.

Well, all these Twilight series are just about the best books ever! I'm on Eclipse right now and I just can't stop reading. Can't wait for the next

I never did read New Moon all the way through. I have no interest in things that happen when Edward isn't there. Plus, I read Eclipse first and can't
go back and read a whole book of Bella gushing about how awesome and amazing Jacob is. Because he's... not.
Stephenie Meyer's not much of a writer and she is way too big a fangirl of her own work (I hate when she obviously uses Bella's character to show her own preferences), but at least she gave us Edward Cullen, who is just perfection. I blame her bad writing for a lot of the total bullshit in Eclipse rather than Bella. If SM could manage to keep her characters IN character a lot of that would have never happened. Oh, yeah, and I will forever be mourning Gaspard Ulliel and Emily Browning not being in the movie, because they are just Edward and Bella brought to life.

They've cast him but it hasn't been announced yet. The official Gaspard Ulliel Fan MySpace has stated he is not Edward though.

Nothing's been made official about Edward yet. But some dude named Colton Hayes is supposed to be playing him. Even though I don't think he's right for the role. |

I just googled Colton... yeah he doesn't fit the description of Edward at all. I'm not happy. *sighs* Hopefully it isn't true.

She loves Edward but she also *gags* loves Jacob Yeah, she can love Jacob all she wants, but making Bella love Jacob when every line of everything previous to her little "revelation" goes against that idea, that's what I have a problem with. She let her own affections for Jacob override all canon history, logic and character motivation. I actually don't mind Colton for Edward because Kristen is about the furthest thing from Bella to me, so it really doesn't matter who Edward is, haha. I just hope they have chemistry. |

I think it works, they'll change his eyes and hair and make him up to be pale anyways that I think it'll be okay.
