lol I haven't even been watching much lately but I know answers to your questions.

Jax was there because originally he couldn't go cuz of a biz trip but Carly told him she really needed "safety" there so he cancelled the trip to go to the ball w/her. she was gonna make Jason go w/her first. Carly was going to the ball because she thought she would meet Leticia's killer there cuz she's been getting anon texts from whom she thinks is the killer.

I'm assuming Luke went there to keep an eye on dumb-drop. actually, he was pretty sweet to Nik at the beginning of the ball. he told Nik that Laura would've really loved the ball. it's always nice to see them get along. I wouldn't say they're just cordial now though. imo they're at a point in their relationship where they are better than they were w/each other a couple of years ago. Luke couldn't stand Nik before. nowadays he will try to save Nik if he's in trouble, if only because he's the son of Laura & the brother of his own kids. I don't think they'll ever be friends exactly, but I think there is at least care for Nik, on Luke's part. Luke even told Nik not to risk his own life to look for Lucky who was missing. LUKE said that, about his own son. he told Nik it was admirable but would be dumb to do.

Jerry & Alexis - whatever the hell is going on with them.. if it weren't for all the shit he put everyone through, I would almost kinda like them together. except that she's making the same mistake w/Sonny all over again. go for the bad, dangerous, but charming/sexy guy. not smart. esp. cuz Jerry is fucking psycho when he wants to be. it pisses me off taht she can't respect Nikolas' wishes & endangers every fucking person in her family including herself. i still can't belive she'd let Molly around that man. I actually kinda *like* Jerry but COME ON! Ric is right about that. does Alexis not know that Jerry fucked Nikolas up or something? he's all messed up now cuz of Jerry Jax!

how freaking awesome was it when Spinelli knocked Lulu out? and Nadine surprisingly was KICKASS when she laid it into Lulu. volunteering to knock her out again that was awesome! Lulu is being her stupid ass dumb-drop self again, just like in the hostage situation. creating more danger/hassle/difficult for everyone else just because she's a selfish idiotic brat. and I was LIKING her for a long time too! why they have to go mess her up again?
