It is you who is thinking about Karma like it's hitting the lottery or something. It is their ultimate destination. Not, wealth in this world, but the next. You think JC fucked someone over and that's why JIVE fucked him over? You simply do not understand that I am NOT talking about waiting for Justin to "get his".... I'll never see Justin "get his" and, honestly, I wouldn't know if he's actually done any of the things Lance mentions in the book, intentionally. As for JC, he's no saint. But, he SEEMS to have conducted himself honestly/ Never has a bad word to say about people, most of whom the rest of the world are knocking. Even though he's been getting some shitty deals in this life lately, he doesn't seem to waiver in the way he's conducted himself. So, ultimately, I believe he will be in good shape in the afterlife.
The whole premise of pushing bad karma on someone who has done something you don't like is stupid to me because in doing so, you'd be pushing it on yourself.

Next time I go home I'm gonna try and dig up that article... that was the beginning of the end of the Bobbs relationship and sadly of the group for that matter.

He'll also be doing some sort of speech at the University of Delaware on November 7th, and supposedly another at the University of South Carolina on the 12th. That's so far...it seems he'll be adding more as he goes along.
Ooh!! I might have to go to the USC one.

Well if they thought Justin was coming back then what stopped them from doing a solo cd or movie and doing the same? Why is he special? If they didn't capitalize on the time wisely then too bad.

You're not the only person who has said something like this, and I think people who think this way are missing the point completely. Put it this way, you and four of your family members plan a big party for your parents' anniversary. It's to be a joint party, representing several different sides of the family. One of you, who just happens to LOVE parties and planning them, keeps telling you that she'll get back to you on the details, she's so excited you're all gonna be working together on this party, she's telling everyone else she's gonna be working with you on it, blah, blah, blah. So the rest of you are excited, and you do some of the work for the party, but you're saving the bulk of it for when you all get together. Then, one day, she walks into a meeting and tells you that she won't be working on your party for your parents, she's decided to do one on her own, and it's happening right away. The rest of you are just stuck, and all your big plans and hopes for this great, unifying anniversary party are gone. Now, are the four of you stupid and lazy, or did you just give your love and trust to someone who proved that she didn't deserve it in this case? I realize this isn't EXACTLY like what they went through, but hopefully it helps to illustrate my point, lol.

And if JayneOC saw the writing on the wall, she should've warned the other four.

Well maybe it's just me, but if she kept telling me she'd do something and never did shit, I'd start planning my parent's party my damn self. I think people are forgetting that this whole... thing is a business. Yes, they're friends, and yes, they had every right to be pissed that he kinda just up and left. (Hell, I think a LOT of us were.) However, he can't be blamed if they didn't have the business sense to have a backup plan. Like someone else said, after the numbers and reviews came in for Justified, after he won a couple of Grammy's, if they kept up with him at all those few years, I would've been looking for another job. And if JayneOC saw the writing on the wall, she should've warned the other four.
What's more important, fame and riches, or family and friends.
