Yes, thank you. Nobody blames Justin for leaving the group to become a solo artist. You can, however, fault the guy for apparently not letting the others in on the fact that he didn't want to come back until two years after the fact, as this excerpt claims. Even if he had the slightest inkling that he might not want to return, he should have let the guys know. And beyond that, the fact that he turned the blame around is just strange. It's not even, I don't know. It's just strange.

Clearly there's not enough of his own life, lol. Justin has his own life. It's not his fault that he has a life and wasn't just sitting around waiting for his group members. You've gotta make your own choices in life especially if you're an adult. You can't sit around and depend on other people to determine your future.

So, ASSUMING THAT HE HONESTLY DIDN'T KNOW RIGHT AWAY that he didn't want to return to *NSYNC, how should Justin have handled telling them once he did know?

So, he capitalized on that big NSYNC fan base, yet held the others back musically because he told them there would be another NSYNC album. Yeah. That's shitty. And some Justin fans wonder why we can't stand the fact that Justin never thanked NSYNC in any of his acceptance speeches? Because HE OWES THEM SO MUCH!
I agree with everything you just said. In the posts i've made, thats what I was trying to say, but I think it came out all messed up.

He might have not half-assed it, but he might have changed the tone of the album some, and done more promoting etc.

That makes it sound like he said to himself, "How can I screw the other guys over while securing my own solo stardom?"

Remember when reading it-- i wrote it in the perspective of what I was feeling and going through at that time. Time definitely does heal all and changes your mind about many things. That you will find in reading my book. Have a feeling some pages of the book will be released before it actually comes out, so please dont take them out of context- and I urge you to read the whole book before you read those.

This also makes me wonder how the other guys felt and/or feel about Johnny Wright, seeing as he is Justins manager and handled most of his stuff...

The excuses he gave were pretty shitty still. How can you go one day from saying "NSYNC album a go" to "No NSYNC album" Theres a while were he started to think, and should have told them then his feelings

But Jive still probably thought a new album from the guys would be coming pretty soon, and didn't go all out. And JC has some say in it as well.
