Tabloid report rumors all the time and try to sell
them as fact. I guess it puts his name in the tabloids,
seems to work for everyone else. The only problem I see
is it's not what he seems to want, but these girls don't
seem to care about that.

 as for the
sex sells thing -it's true enough. but it sure would be
nice if the music sold, instead.

Okay, I missed the whole discussion about this porn
star chick. If this was supposed to turn me off of

The main reason I think the playboy rep would have
helped during Schizo was because it was such a sexy
album. For some people who were not to familiar with his
other songs, he went from one extreme to the other and
people didn't get it.
I hate to bring up the other dude, but I remember his promo, he was linked with quite a few people in the tabloids, it gave him a players rep, then add a couple of sexy videos and there it is. Anyway, enought tabloid drama, I want some real music news!!! |

Chazme.....I think you're right in that the album
and JC's image didn't mix. Here was a guy with a choir
boy persona seemingly coming out of nowhere with an album
about sex. It didn't fit.

Yeah, Jive created an image for JC and that image
was all his younger fans had so schizo was a huge shock
for them. After the stage lick during Digital Getdown, I
knew the boy was naughty.

I was in the car when I first heard that.....with
my daughter!! To say I cursed JC was an understatement.
I went
back and listened again and loved it, but damn, I had a
