(Again, NOT saying that's what the OP does but in that same vein.) It's more annoying and uncalled for when the random kiosk employee comes up to the random shopper and does that. Customer vs. sales associate: it's certainly not assault. It's not like she rubbed it in. And it's really not a good idea to work so closely with items you are so violently allergic to. I wonder how the replies would have read if this same situation had been posted but without the allergy and from the customer's perspective and if the customer/JJBer had said "and the SA freaked out about it." (not that the OP freaked out in front of her, just wondering if viewpoints would change.)
