Why did I watch Chuno?!?!?! I have NEVER cried over TV, but this shit made me ball like an idiot. What an ending! Very grandiose story with many side plots.
The sword fighting was amazing.

There are some story lines that I wish had ended differently. Especially

I need to watch something happy and stupid right now to get my emotions in check
I KNOWWWWWWWWW! I'm so glad you watched it.  What did you think? I knew the yound slave leader was full of shit from the word go, but it was interesting to see it play out. The producers and writers said that the most important storyline to them was that of the slaves, so that's why they were so intertwined and it seemed like almost 2 stories in one so often. I feel like they should have let us know whether he (the other one) actually dies too, but I guess we're supposed to leave it up to our interpretation and our knowledge of the characters. Did you see the very, very end that was cut out of most of the online videos?  It had GC and JS seing the real estate agent and finding out that WS actually did purchase all that he said he had and also paid everything off except for his own part of the property. How FANTASTIC was the character of SulHwa?!?!? I seriously loved her from day one. She broke my heart.

I've been on a break the last couple of weeks. I got my BFF into it and she now has a dramafever membership and has told me that I have to watch Shining Inheritance next. I'll probably start that this week. Tomorrow is finally my son's last school day so I will have more time to devote to being lazy.

Yes, I did see the part with the real estate agent. It was so sad and beautiful. He really did love them like his family, as much as he tried to pretend he didn't. Their reunion was so emotional. Soelwha was such an amazing character. Such a tragic love. I would like to think that in the end she went back to live with General Choi and Wangsoon.

You know, I also kind of felt bad for Hwang Chul Wong. I think his life was tragic. All his bad decisions led him down a road that made him into a monster. He had such ambition but because of greed, he entered into a marriage that would produce no children and loveless. He was basically his FIL's bitch right to the end. Must say though, he was once scary ass swordman. it was touching that at the end of it all, he went back to his wife and wept on her lap when he couln't even bear to "talk" to her face to face.

I needed a break after that one. It was such an emotional overload.
