I think people are saying there is 'no point in looking now' because with flights, the prices tend to be super-expensive if you price them TOO far ahead.

You want to give a decent amount of time (say, about 2-3 months) to get a good price, but you don't want to give too much time, because as you can see, the price is just too high.

I have flown to/from the East Coast and the West Coast several times and only paid about $300-350 roundtrip each time, so I truly can not imagine that a short trip like Houston/Cleveland would be that much more than that.

So I think you can guesstimate that your ticket would cost about $250-300 each.
In about late March/early April of next year is when you should buy the tix.
