I used to make a great one years ago but it ended up being so much work I stopped. But I basically made a homemade spaghetti type sauce. Left it overnight in the fridge (it's always better the next day) then the next day just assembled by putting a layer of sauce,layer of partially cooked lasagna noodles then sprinkled 3 cheeses (ricotta, fresh grated parmesan - not the canned stuff, and grated mozarella, then repeated the layering 2 more times ending with the grated cheese as the last layer.
