I think my parents are okay with my stuff being in the house - I have like a room of stuff, compared to my dad who has shit all over the rest of the house. He has an old photo enlarger, teletype machines, typewriters, all this old crap that hasn't been used in years and should be thrown out. My mom is more upset with my dad's collection of junk than my stuff, and my dad's response is that if he had a bigger house he'd have more room - it's so hard to get him to agree to get rid of anything. He also has trees inside the house that are always getting sticky and whatnot. He bought a 4 bedroom house for himself originally, then my mom moved in and they're still here... so there's just stuff piled all over the place. I got home on Friday for Spring Break.. and they emptied a closet. I have about 17 boxes of crap sitting behind me right now.

Does your stuff really take up a lot of room? Because if not I don't see why it has to be such a big issue.
