Often the mice will chew their legs off to get away from those kinds of traps. And even if they don't, you still have to pick up a glue trap with a living mouse on it, then throw it in the trash. Please go with a humane trap, or at the very least a snap trap so the thing is killed instantly. I hate thinking of animals in pain. 

If you put the glue trap + mouse in a box, and pour olive oil on it (the glue portions), Mr. Mouse can escape from the glue. Not sure how good olive oil is for mice, though. But you will want to bring the mouse far away from your place since they always seem to be able to get back inside, regardless of where you put them outside. 



Ok- yeah- poor little Jerry mouse.  I guess the snap trap is best then.    But maybe the glue traps numb them so if you can get to them before they die you can do the oil trick. ???
