I suggested Mexico for the Mayan Ruins, plus Cozumel and other Caribbean beaches. Friend 1 is worried about the drinking water there, which is ridiculous. I want to press this a little further, but would also like other suggestions. Are there any other happy mediums, such as Caribbean places with more to do than just lounging on the beach? (Not Nassau - way too touristy/crowded, and the things to do besides the beach are casinos/bars, not like volcanoes/culture/Mayan Ruins/etc.) When is your spring break? Because I went to Italy during my spring break when I was a junior in college and it was very nice weather. Didn't rain at all and wasn't cold either. The days weren't short either! Where did you hear this from?
