I don't understand the way some of you think. I understand the thoughts about this particular case. The fact that they said they are only keeping it because of insurance reasons is a bit unsettling. And if they couldn't afford an abortion, and the child does live for any amount of time, how are they going to pay for his care?

But do you guys believe that any pregnancy that isn't 100% normal should be aborted? Like, children born with Down Syndrome and other mental and physical problems? That's like saying you would never want to give birth unless the child was completely healthy. Miracles do happen, and some babies have overcome tremendous obsticals. I can understand them wanting to pray and hope for the best. I don't understand them saying in one line that they wanted to abort but couldn't, so now they are just going with it. That to me is like WTF?
