There is a REALLY good documentary series on HBO right now if you have it, and part of it is about caregivers and stuff and you can see how people deal with it. I recommend the whole series for anyone who has or is going through living with someone with the disease.
We did get HBO for that reason only. The thing that makes me upset is that everything we've seen so far has not shown the realistic symptoms of Alzheimer's. My father is a lamb...but in certain circumstances he gets upset - I haven't seen one eppy where they show that. He's such a doll, but with this disease, they get upset, they get frustrated - I know he gets irritated when he can't find the words for something he wants to say...that's nowhere in the doc....
