Lesson to the elder: Don't ever say "you'll see when you get older" if you want young people to respect anything you have to say. That does not make you sound wise, nor does it make anyone want to take your advice. It just makes you sound snotty.

JJB has a reading comprehension problem sometimes. I never said there was anything wrong with adults using Facebook, but when you're not speaking to someone for days because the person didn't look at your new note/photos/whatever, or when its your PRIMARY form of communication to your employees and you think thats appropriate, you have a problem.

How bout you pump your brakes captain, and find where I accused you of saying anything was wrong with it. *waits* I merely gave an explanation from the point of view of one of these adults this post is about, I wasn't offering any advice (advice about what? How to behave when you're old? I give a fuck?). And you're accusing folk of reading comprehension problems? Jump out of defensive mode, you'll feel better.

My "you'll see when you get older", signed with a wink by the way, was tongue in cheek and meant affectionately actually. If anything, it was self-deprecating. The fact that you can't read tone isn't really my problem. And I'm neither concerned about, in need of nor seeking your respect. Matter of fact, just fuck you, is that less condescending enough for you? image

mshinda-- for all the fun you're having re-connecting, do you ever find someone that you're glad is out of your life and you are afraid will try to reconnect through FB? And do you worry about what to do if he/she does?
Nah. What's to fear? If someone's out of my life and I don't want them back in, I ignore their ass image. But there's really no one I can think of like that. Well, I found a high school boyfriend and we're both on my high school FB group. He's still an ass. Just a grown one with a wife (poor woman) and kids image. I keed, I don't really care.
