Lesson to the elder: Don't ever say "you'll see when you get older" if you want young people to respect anything you have to say. That does not make you sound wise, nor does it make anyone want to take your advice. It just makes you sound snotty.

JJB has a reading comprehension problem sometimes. I never said there was anything wrong with adults using Facebook, but when you're not speaking to someone for days because the person didn't look at your new note/photos/whatever, or when its your PRIMARY form of communication to your employees and you think thats appropriate, you have a problem.

Here's the deal: for "the youth" image it's no biggie. But you have to understand the difference in lifestyle between a younger and an older person. When you're say, high school or college aged, or even just post-college, you're surrounded by your friends and peers all the time. You're constantly texting, IM'ing, socializing, SEEING them and whatever elsing.

What kind of jobs do the 'younger people' you know have? Because I'm out of college with a job and am usually still at work at 8:00PM, plus doing catch-up work on the weekends. Single life without kids does not equal free party time. Some of us have to do jobs outside of 9-5 work to make rent.
