Explain to them your school situation. You are majoring in that field so I dont see why it would matter how far long you are in your degree. Unless you told them you were further along than you actually are. You can google resume samples and use a template. Be honest with the work experience you have. Trust me as someone who has looked through hundreds of resumes and interviewed possible employees all experience is relevant. Anyway whatever happens it is a good contact to have.

in terms of all job experiences i have had, they are as follows:
2001-2005 - worked in a locally owned candy store and factory as a sales clerk and in packaging. 2006-2007 - worked in a locally owned flower and gift shop in the office. i was the primary order taker via phone, handled some customer service, handled newsletters to clients about what we carried, and did some work with accounting. 2007-present - waitress at one of the busiest restaurant chains in ohio. became an evening shift closer and acted as a trainer for over a year.
i did work at starbucks for a few months in 2005, but i'm not sure i would even bring that up. i just think of it because it was a great experience. anyhoo, what of that should i include on a resume?
and thank you for all the kind words of support and the sharing of success stories!!!
