Yuku hates when I try to reply; earlier, I signed on to let y'all know that I went to buses early in the day today and luckily, Archie, Cook, Jason, and KLC came out. There was not nearly as many people compared to other cities, probably because school started in districts around today. I made a Welcome sign that got lots of compliments, including some from the Idols when they signed it, which was fun. I gave Archie a painting I did for him and he was sweet about it, asking how long I worked on it, and I think he said something, "Oh, wow, thanks" or something like that; perhaps not the most articulate thing, but I said to promise not to trash it...haha, I meant it in a nice, "I really worked hard on this" way. He made a kinda sympathetic face and aww'd or something. [He had to go back in the arena to blow his nose real fast after this...and he kept coughing a lot, poor guy. He was coughing during his set and I'm not sure if it was the result of his voice affected, but he sounded totally different live. Carly sounded different a few times, but I really noticed it with David.] It flew by, but it was so awesome. I was getting my hopes up to meet him and take a pic and I'm so grateful I was able to. I'm awaiting the pics from a nice lady I met, among the interesting and cool fans.

Jeff Archuleta also came out as David left and talked to some fans; I heard a lady talk to him about her daughter wanting to try out for Idol and she segwayed into asking him for passes because her daughter loves him to which he said something like there were already a lot of people and it can be awkward [or something?], but he would try. I also saw 2 other people ask David for passes to which he let out the uncomfortable, "I think it's just for family and friends and I don't really know how it works, sorry."

Cool story: A very outspoken girl I first met when I got there said she didn't have tickets; when Cook came out, she mentioned it to him and he asked the security guy about it to hook her up...they ended up getting lower level front row and he gave her passes for her and her friend! So lucky, the friend was kinda along for the ride and didn't know about any of them, so that kinda sucks, but good for her and very nice of Cook.
