I love episodes like this--mostly for reading the reactions.

-Waits for Nathan to finally get a bit angry and bring up the whole Chris Keller thing. Similar situation--only Haley ended up GOING with him. Overall, Nathan and Haley have sacrified enough for each other and have endured too much to have it end over something like this. They're both in the wrong here. I have a feeling that there will be a separation, but it won't come to actual divorce. Haley was also on an emotional roller coaster, between Jamie telling her he wanted the Nanny as his mama, and then the whole Nathan/Carrie revelations--give the woman a break. She's a tough cookie, but anyone would break under that combination of blows. Jamie falling into the pool was the final straw on an absolutely hellacious week.
I'm certain that things won't end up in divorce though--Mark would need a bodyguard, because Naley fans would be out for BLOOD.

-What happened to Deb? Did they wrap up that storyline and I never noticed?

-Lindsay/Lucas isn't going to happen. Lindsay was gone the entire episode, and unless it was mentioned in the first five minutes, no one thought to say where she was. They had prime opportunity when Nathan showed up at Lucas' door after Haley kicked him out, but nothing. If she hasn't made that much of an impact on his life, then she's not staying. Besides that, everyone knows that Mark has a ongoing hard-on for Leyton.

-I really don't think you can go up for parole after 5 years for second degree murder in real life, BUT in OTH land Dan still has the best lawyers money can buy so they probably worked out a deal if he plead guilty to the charges.

-I like the Owen/Brooke storyline so far. I think he's good for her. He's making her think--and work a bit, which she isn't used to, being Miss Popularity in High School. I do think Rachel is going to throw a wrench in the plans, but hopefully they'll give Mouth a break and let him be her support for a while. Mouth needs to get the hot girl for once--especially after *shudder* hooking up with his boss. Blah.

-You guys complain about Peyton playing the victim, but LUCAS needs to man up a bit, in my opinion. Peyton says no to his marriage proposal (not right NOW), and he gets drunk and kisses Brooke. Peyton confesses that she still loves him, and they kiss, and then he goes home and proposes to Lindsay. WTF?

That's it for me. I have to go to class.
