You're trying way too hard to make it all mean old Justin's fault. There was a lot more going on in making these decisions then we know but one thing is clear, blaming Justin is just the easy thing to do.

I just find it so funny that we're supposed to believe "On The Line", OF ALL THINGS, broke up the group.
I don't think Lance is saying that. It was just part of the bigger picture. Justin wanted to do his own thing and JC and Chris did too from the sound of it. They felt like it was time to break up. Unfortunately, Lance and Joey weren't ready to let it go.
