Thanks so much for typing this up!

Looking back at the bands last album and video, I could see everything seemed to naturally favor Justin. Sometimes during photo shoots, we'd kid around with the photographers and move Justin to the side while putting one of us in the middle; they would always quite "diplomatically" move us back into place.
I think we all started to notice, especially with Gone, that Justin was becoming the artist, and the other four were simply becoming "the other four". It makes me kind of sad though that, quite literally, Lance and the others were shoved to the side. And no, I'm not blaming Justin for this. I believe that was purely management and the record company.
What was I going to do? Did I have any value outside of the band? It was a difficult transition for me to make, and it's had it's fair share of anxiety and insecurity, but slowly I began to feel that I could do things on my own.
It really pisses me off that he had to question if he had any "value" outside of the band, or even at all. If management had given them all equal "face time" in regards to vocals, photo shoots, etc., or at least something that was less painfully obvious, there would have been no reason for him to question this. The people who made decisions for that group are definitely at fault for that.
