Wow, I keep trying to catch up...started tonight around page 5 but the pages are adding faster than I can read, and I am a fast reader. lol

It's possible that he hadn't made up his mind until later and wanted to be 100% positive before alarming them, it's possible that he dragged it out as long as possible to assure that his fame was secured
I certainly hope that is not true.. that he dragged it out as long as possible to make sure that HIS fame was secure!!! Isn't that a little Selfish. Justin was being primed with the release of Celebrity...look at the fact that he got his own song on the record, Gone. The other 4 were being pushed to the background even then. Whether that was Johnny Wrights doing or not, we don't know. JC was writing songs for the album along with Justin, but Justin was the one that was spotlighted. Hindsight is wonderful, but I think this plan to go solo was in play by then.

I don't begrudge Justin his success, but his push to the forefront was long before the release of Justified. I think, and this is only my opinion, but I think he knew long before CTFC 4 that he was leaving, but as pointed out above, he chose to secure his position to the detriment of the others, continuing to profess that there was an NSYNC, leaving the other four to believe that NSYNC would continue, and then, secure in his position now in the music world, he dropped the bomb. JC was still going around promoting Schizo saying the guys were going to make another album, so were Joey, Chris and Lance. It would have been nice if he had let his "brothers" in on what his real plans were. And the fact that he didn't and let them believe there was still an NSYNC, is what really sucks.
