There's a difference between being isolated - left to do your work and not bothered much unless necessary, and being purposely isolated by someone who doesn't like you and makes you feel unwanted/uncomfortable. That is a toxic work environment, and none of you would love that.

Sorry you have to go through this. I don't understand why people make excuses for someone being an asshole (asking are you likable). There are plenty of people at work that I don't fit with because our personalities are different, but I don't treat them like shit, because they're still human beings and I'm not a big enough jerk to think that it's their problem we're not connecting, people might not like me either. As a manager, if I acted that way at work I would be fired or at least performance managed.
