Over the past 15 months I've been trying to get the correct dose for my hypothyroidism. Before that time it was normal (around 1.5 TSH), but I fell and fractured my back and this made my thyroid go nuts! My TSH went to 93 yikes. For those who don't know, TSH should be between .4 and 4; some say between .3 and 3.

I didn't know a traumatic physical event can do this. Live and learn. I think the dose I'm on now (Levoxyl) will get me the closet to normal as I've been. At least I hope so, as I've tried pretty much every other dose.

By the way, I've never heard this from endocrinologists or other doctors and I've never read this anywhere...
