I think with me, the reason why I haven't fallen completely for Peter yet is because I haven't been able to immediately pin his Doctor down. They all have qualities they share but there's always something that singles them out for me.

With Chris, it was like, "Ah, you're just CRAZY and intense, I LOVE you!". With David, "Oh wow, you are just FUN and kinetic, I LOVE you!!" and with Matt, it was "Good lord, you are such an ADORABLE hipster and you're so good with kids, I LOVE you!"

With Peter, I'm still finding my way. 5-6 episodes in, I am still trying to find what sets him apart. I like the Caretaker episode because it shows he's protective of Clara and not in a romantic way which was nice. It also showed how he's not enamored easily with kids---opposite of Matt but quite refreshing and maybe fitting for Peter's Doctor. Anyway, we need more episodes where we get to see more of his personality.

I think we're slowly getting pieces of his unlike the others where all of them are thrown at you and you immediately form an opinion. I feel weird not loving Peter right away but except for the first episode, the stories are keeping me interested enough to learn more about him. I'm comparing it to falling in love. With Chris, David, and Matt, it was love at first sight. With Peter, I think I just have to face the fact that it's going to be a slow burn.

I'm just glad I got into Doctor Who because of the stories. This is really a new experience not immediately loving The Doctor.
