I would recommend to start with the 9th doctor (Christopher Eccleson)
Which is basically the first season, you can start with the other doctors(1-8 ), but it's very cheesy laugh.gif
I agree. The Classic Doctors are interesting but considering the eras and the low special effects budget, the show might turn you off. Aside from that, some of the Classic episodes online are missing (I'm looking at you, BBC). It's best to start with NuWho which basically starts with Nine (Chris Eccleston), followed by Ten( David Tennant) and the soon to be departing, Eleven (Matt Smith). I know some who started with Matt, became hooked, watched all his episodes then went back to the beginning of NuWho. There are also Christmas Specials and Red Nose Day skits. I myself started with NuWho in 2005 but watch Classic Who as well. It's fun to see how the show has evolved and of course, it also makes me understand The Doctor more.

The show is a crazy, confusing, fun and emotional rollercoaster! Welcome to Whoverse and enjoy becoming a Whovian!
