Oh & as far as medical bankruptcy, there are plenty of people that don't have insurance and die in medical debt. I guess this is why some are so inclined not to work and get "free" healthcare.

Oh and out of pocket my parents had MRIs that cost $500 after insurance. I know another man that figured and went to Mexico for his MRI and surgery. It was cheaper than going through his insurance.

I am very very anti-government forcing us to do stuff. We need a change in healthcare but this isn't it. It's like stopping food stamps and saying "well so many people abuse the system".

However, I think (for religious reasons), you can still reject insurance..right?
And my insurance with my job is changing because of this and I get NO choice of provider. Plus out of pocket is going up. #notafan #wtf
It's for better coverage though. If you compare the Gold BC/BS plan to the top tier United plan, the coverage is better. This change has nothing to do with ACA. It's because the state chose to change providers.
