You can definitely still catch whatever disease inside the human body. Any cutting should be done by a medical professional. This is all very false. M diseases die after the body dies because a lot of those disease require a living cell or organism to survive and since the individual is dead there is no longer a supply of oxygen to keep any kind of disease alive. Second, for any kind of body to be taken into a school or any kind of research facility it MUST be embalmed. Embalming fluids kills all bacteria, germs or anything that could possibly harm anyone on the outside, hence why many funeral homes have policies that if you want an open casket funeral the body must be embalmed, no ifs ands or buts. I was in school for mortuary science and work in a funeral home.
