I liked 50 shades and I have read a lot of books in this "genre." However, I was immediately turned off by Gideon. I didn't like how he was all I'm gonna eff you when they were going to get on the elevator in the beginning of the book.

I really enjoyed the neighbor from hell series. Those are hysterical! I have also read Gabriel's Inferno. I enjoyed that, but didn't care for the second book. The Marriage Bargain series is good. I really liked Beautiful Disaster and Slammed.

I was turned off by that part of the book too but I kept reading and got over it. I like Gideon and Eva way better than Christian and Anna.

I didn't finish the neighbor from hell series. There was something off for me in it and I also stopped reading the marriage bargain series after the first one.laugh.gif I did like Beautiful Disaster way more than I expected to and I haven't tried Slammed. I am reading Walking Disaster and find it less interesting from his perspective but that could be because it's essentially the same story so the mystery is gone.

I'll have to try Bared to You again.  I just finished Anything He Wants and I enjoyed it.  It is very similar to Bared to You.  The opening scene is them in the elevator and he says an equally repulsive line. But I kept reading and it got better.  I had to take a break from the genre for a while, because I feel that they all have a similar plot.
