Leaving work soon so can't write much, but I absolutely recommend raw to everyone who is interested in feeding their dog(s) the best, species-appropriate diet.
I started researching natural rearing and raw feeding a few years ago after my first dog died of cancer. I started feeding our then 6-year old dog raw. She was always fairly gassy and farted often, and we figured that was pretty typical for dogs so never thought anything of it. After starting her on raw, she never farts anymore. Her breath is better, her energy is better, her coat, everything. And those are only the superficial benefits.

Although there are some good, even great, quality kibbles, I still feel that at the end of the day its processed and doesn't resemble food in its natural form. It's completely dehydrated which is not good for dogs' digestion, and eating the same thing everyday isn't ideal for dogs as much as it isn't ideal for humans.
