I've said this numerous times, I really loathe it when life interferes with my DW obsession! smiley: mad

Anyway, I LOVED this episode! Didn't give a rat's ass about the salvaging bros; they were just a distraction. The TARDIS was just the star of the show. I must say, I want my own TARDIS because it really is BIGGER ON THE INSIDE!! smiley: laugh

I was nervous about this episode because it was the same guy that wrote that pirate episode. That guy isn't really consistent because he wrote Reichenbach Falls on Sherlock and that was amazing. Thankfully, he did brilliantly here---I'm ignoring the brother part, ok? One thing you can say that is consistent about the show is the way it is shot. I will never get tired of saying how it feels like you're watching a movie all the time. Just amazing and gorgeous! smiley: smile

My fave parts like y'all, were seeing all those rooms! The swimming pool! That humongous library! That telescope room(from the werewolves episode with Rose, I think)! Oh and the Eye of Harmony? HOLY CRAP! The one that really took my breath away was the heart of the TARDIS. In that simple white background, the TARDIS felt tragic, broken, eerie and yet, quite beautiful. It reminded of The Girl Who Waited episode with Amy.smiley: frown

Now Clara spent the episode pretty much running, getting scared, and screaming. Nothing there really to stretch her acting muscles. I am glad though that The Doctor finally confronted her. Too bad though that she eventually forgot that. Also, I understand why the companions have to save the day sometimes. I mean, that's one of the reasons why The Doctor loves humans, right? However, I like this episode because it was The Doctor that truly saved the day for once.

Anyway, Clara really intrigues me. Was she able to read that book in Gallifreyan or was the TARDIS so screwed up that it translated it in English? A part of me wonders if she is The Master or some evil Gallifreyan because of that and the fact that the TARDIS hates her. It can't be the fact that she is a woman. God knows how many women SEXY has entertained,  smiley: wink

Also enjoyed the souvenirs from the past. I mentioned the telescope but the crib, umbrella, mini TARDIS among others were such a nice thing to see. Makes you realize the madman in the box has a sentimental heart...or two,  smiley: roll. I'm gonna have to watch it again because I know there was more. It really felt like a love letter to the past.

As for the monster, it made me scream and jump when Clara was in the library but other than that, I felt like it was some playdoh gone wrong, smiley: laugh. I yearn for the days of the Weeping Angels(Blink) and to some extent, The Silence. Those were really scary and fun to watch.

All in all, I LOVED it! smiley: happy
