Most be ob/gyns actually back selling bc otc, but one of the biggest issues is the price point. Health insurance and government programs do not cover otc medications. So if bc was made otc but remained at their current price levels many, many women would not be able to afford it on their own. Now if otc-bc dropped to prices comparable to say otc-pain killers or allergy medicines then lets get this change rolling.
