I saw it and enjoyed it. I feel sad that we won't see Tom and Hal after this season anymore because I do love watching them get along AND fight each other, too. The quip about Victorian kids by Alex made me chuckle but man, her acting was just too embarrassing during that "party" scene when she was supposed to be hysterical. I couldn't help but thinkof how Lenora(Annie) would have delivered that more effectively. I also enjoyed that little boy. He really made me want to tie my tubes myself,

It annoys the crap out of me that I cannot recall where I've seen the actor that plays the Devil. I've seen him do evil parts too, I just can't remember. I like how they're going all Supernatural on us with the Devil and all that. Curious if God and angels will be part of this development as well. Unlike SPN, BH UK at least won't be able to drag this storyline since this is the last season. For that, I am grateful.
I just can't warm to Alex. Part of it is definitely how they've written her.  I mean, we get it, she's a spunky! But you're right, part of it is the lack of comedic delivery the actress is capable of. Lenora had incredible comedic timing. Perfect example is the scene with Mitchell and Adam (the teenage vampire) where she protests she doesn't want any of 'Mitchell's fang'. I thought she hit every note perfectly. I totally respect that they couldn't write Annie: Part II for the ghost. But Hal an Tom are hardly Mitchell and George, yet they managed to make them totally engaging.

As for the actor playing the Devil, he's been a lot of stuff, but the only the I can actually recall at the moment is the taxi driver in Season 1 of Sherlock. But yeah, he's always doing evil characters.

Also, I was disappointed to see the men with sticks and ropes. Toby even said once he'd never show them because the reality of who they are would probably never live up to what they would be like in people's imagination. And for me, sadly, this was true. Also this mr. crumb/men in grey suits storyline seems completely tangential at the moment. I know it'll all wrap up together somehow,  but at present it's just serves as an annoying lack of screen time for Tom and Hal.

Totally agree on both counts!

As for the Devil, yeah, I remember him from that but there's something else. I've seen Mr Crumb in other roles as well. That's when you know you watch too much brit/european tv---you remember the actors from something else and we're just talking character actors and not actual stars, . Anyway, each time I see Mr Rook? I always think he's the blonder,  English version of Jim Parsons(Sheldon Cooper of BBT). Sometimes there's an angle and I just think, "Sheldon!!". Do any of you see that?

Not until you mentioned it, now I can't unsee it!
