I feel awful for being excited that a few of the kids seem like they're itching to break away. Mariah reminds me of every overly religious, judgmental person I've met before. The episode where she had a shitfit about her brother's "arrest" really showed how crazy she is.

I think its ridiculous that Meri needs her own house the size of everyone elses' home. If they were financially able to have that then fine but they're obviously not...
Yes.  She has a very high and mighty attitude with her siblings and now with that conversation with her parents, I cannot believe how she got all uppity with her mother.

The interesting thing is that she has such an only child attitude, even though she has many half-siblings.  I don't even think she would be able to handle losing that only child status.  I know she thinks she wants all these little brothers and sisters, but her attitude tells me, she wouldn't do well in that situation.  The simple fact that she's being a bitch to her mother because she didn't jump at Robyn and instantly say YES after Robyn offered tells me she doesn't really know about life (even though she thinks she does) or her parents life.  I mean, just watching the show, I can't imagine the stress of everything, the moving, the rentals, the trying for property, trying to build houses.  To anyone else, that would be a hell of a lot of stress to deal with, but now, add in trying to figure out if you want to have another woman carrying a child for you, and the woman is someone who just gave birth plus add in Meri isn't as young as she probably wanted to be having all these young babies.  I'm sure she's thinking about her age and energy levels and maybe if she's up to it, she'll go the IVF route to have a baby instead of Robyn carrying a baby.  That is a lot of things to think about without all their stress, but add in their extra stress, I'm sure it will take a good year or two before Meri can truly decide what she wants.  The little boy that Robyn gave birth to, he doesn't even look a year old yet, so it hasn't been that long since Robyn offered and I think Mariah is all upset and antsy because her mom didn't say yes within that first second of Robyn offering to carry a baby for Meri and Kody.  She needs to take it down a notch and stop acting as if she's the adult and the one who gets to make the decision.

In regards to Meri and the big house.  I wonder if she could even build a small house in that area/sub-division.  Maybe the property owners or whoever won't let her build some 1-2 bedroom home next to all these 4-5 bedroom homes.  So once again, Meri is being punished for something that wasn't her fault (her not being able to have all these kids).  But even though she has only 1 biological child, she does help co-parent 15+ children who I'm sure come and visit and sleep over.  I think Meri has in mind a house that would be 1. a fun house to entertain and have all the cool little things but 2. a house that has the extra room for visiting family, children to come and sleep over, extra rooms for when the other 3 houses get a little too crowded or noisy.
