Do they take a bath by them self, or with moderate supervision. Can walk to the house to the car with no adult supervision (hand holding or sitting in a cart say at Target yet parent is walking side by side). I have my plan but my behaviorist and I are butting heads. Don't feel they are pushing certain things. I get my son doesn't dress himself BUT I feel I need a reality check so I don't coddle and everyone around me is pro-coddle. Be kind... special needs is hard enough
My daughter could do all those things at three.  She's always been far more advanced than her peers independence wise.

A six year old is in kinder or first grade.  They should be able to to do most things independently except for things like crossing the street or cooking (but should be able to make a PB sandwich or find a snack).

Thanks! Honestly I pushed for a safety goal for them to walk side by side and to stop hand to hand transfers. Yes he is a bolter, and yes he WILL run off as he has "Squirrel" attention issues if he finds something cooler then listening. But if you hold a childs hand forever they just dont learn to be self aware which for me is more important then the multiplication he is learning in first grade because he is academically ahead in some areas.
