Glad to find a Hart of Dixie thread!

I watched season 1 on Netflix, now I'm watching season 2 on cwtv.com. (I don't own a tv.)

The acting is pretty bad, the plots are threadbare, and Rachel is SO unconvincing as a doctor (let alone one of the best out of med school like they portrayed her to be in the first episode), but I find myself really liking this show.

I think it's because the formula is so similar to Gilmore Girls, which remains one of my top 5 fave shows ever. The small town with quirky characters, the slow-moving plots, etc. all feel comfortable and easy to me, LOL. I remember taping episodes of GG and waiting until Friday night to watch it while eating mac & cheese; I'm doing the same with HOD. This show is the equivalent of mac & cheese: safe, but comforting.

George Tucker has become my fantasy boyfriend.
I think he's so cute and sweet and charming. And I love that All-American look in a guy!

And I also love the music from it. Every episode, I hear a song or two I really like; I think I need to create a 'music from HOD' playlist on Spotify.
