I've never taken that stance with breeds. The majority of time when you hear about dogs attacking other dogs or going after kids it's because the owners were morons. Every-now and then it's a family dog that was raised right and shit just happens. I think one happens more than the other mind you, but shit still happens. As Sha said these posts bring out the morons.

And the reason I said she was a shitty owner was because she raised a supposed mean/bad dog and now thinks all the breeds are evil.

How do you determine a shitty owner from a good one if you're out and someone elses dog starts trying to bite your child? There are certain breeds that are notorious for not liking kids. Dachshund is one. I'm sure there are plenty of Dachshunds who are friendly with kids..I feel the need to say that before I'm attacked by owners of Dachshunds for stating that. But yeah. When you go on the look out for a new dog, you ask questions or research.. and you'll see different things stated about different breeds and their temperaments. They aren't all the same. If they were, people wouldn't be so choosy about dogs.

You can treat your dog like royalty at home, but when you take her/him outside, sometimes it's hard to control how they react to other things. The friend I referenced earlier has a Dachshund... she loves her dog like it's her child.
