Also, go to your local Family Services office and speak to someone about your situation. You can take your child(ren) with you. They can help you figure out what aid you might be entitled to, including Temporary Assistance (emergency cash) and daycare assistance. You have worked and paid taxes in the past, don't be ashamed to make use of those dollars to help you when you're down now. It's not forever, just until you get on your feet. Maybe contact a local church nearby and ask about babysitting for you to go to your interview. Even if you don't attend there, they might have options for you. A lot of churches run onsite daycare, or have a list of babysitters on file. You never know unless/until you ask, it would probably only be for an hour or two. Also, if you have a Facebook, make a post asking if someone (you know and trust, obviously) would be willing to babysit for a couple hours so you can go to a job interview. You don't have to give details, but someone might offer to help out.
